This is my Surrender

Hello to everyone out there. This is not the exact date of when I surrendered my life to Christ but this is where I began to speak out about it.

I have known of Jesus my whole life thanks to my mom and dad who were both believers. Thank goodness for that because throughout my life He, meaning Jesus was there with me. I was not an easy kid and I’m sure a was a full-time job for Jesus too.

His grace and mercy is above and beyond all understanding. I pray that you also know this first hand but if you do not, there is nothing better. Jesus is more loving , kind, refreshing, hydrating, moisturizing, nothing can explain the joy of Jesus in your life. I believe that is why they call Him the “living water”.

I just wanted to introduce myself to you and let you know what is going on with my walk. I am currently living with my mom who has dementia and my brother who cares for my mom at night. We partnered up together so that we didn’t have to put her in a home. Let me tell you if Jesus was not my Lord and Savior I could not, would not and should not be caring for anyone, let alone my mom.

This journey has been very special to me. While growing up like I said earlier, I was not an easy kid. I had a lot of baggage, hate, pain and literal distain for my mom and the world. She and I were estranged my whole life. She used to always say that, “I don’t like you but I love you” and now I can understand that statement. Being her full-time care giver has brought so much clarity to my belief, my understanding and my relationship with Christ.
