One of the most amazing things about Jesus is that He called us imperfect messes. What He does with the nightmare that we are is absolutely beyond words. I know for myself that there is no looking back, there is no other option but God, but Jesus!
God has transformed us into this light that stretches into the darken darkness. A light that is really not that bright, it reminds me of a generic tea light with the warm faded out hue. But what we see ourselves as, what I see myself as is run down, not bright, not worthy. Yet, when you are in utter darkness that run down light seems like the sun so bright you cannot look directly at it.
When we are so in love with Christ we become some supernatural vessel of love without even trying. This is the wondrous way of the Lord. He is so into each and everyone of us that He turns our worn out, run down selves into these unbelievable torches to speak the name of Jesus. To shine like the love of Christ into every corner, under every rock, behind every tree.
True repentance is a message that is relayed with no words. It screams to the rooftops in silence. It is a miracle to the fullest. I know who I was in my old self and I wasn’t even worthy of the trash dump.
We must love the Lord with all of heart, body, mind and soul. In return for the love that he gives to us we then represent to others what Christ Jesus is and who He is in us.
Those who are forgiven much…love much!!
