In each of us is a spirit, it is either the spirit of God or a spirit in the other direction.
Either way we are all creatures made in the image of God. We are all part of this long equation that makes us the human race.
Being a follower of Christ Jesus we are united by the bountiful Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit unites us and gives us a singular meaning to be more like Jesus. To be kind to others, to love our neighbor, to repent when we are thinking about thoughts that are not worthy of Christ.
We are of the human race, we are not of this world, we are children of the Most High King and yet we are all individuals. We each have gifts, ideas, dreams and purpose that have been bestowed upon us by our creator and yet we breathe the same breath that was given by YHWH.
We have been gifted to be lights of the living King. To tell others of His glory, to pray for those we know and those that we do not. But in truth we live like there is no tomorrow and I am sure that’s because tomorrow is not promised. It is our duty to care for our fellow man, to edify our brethren, to pray for the lost, spread the seed of the gospel through the living and to make sure that we are the best to strangers who we do not know who we entertain.
The noise of this world, its volume is at a 10. It takes love, dedication, drive and devotion to a force larger than us to cut through the ever so present distractions. Let us be still. Put ourselves to the side and allow the true reason for our life to bring it up to the front burner, to live for Christ. Live and treat others like Jesus would or could and should.
I am guilty of being so self involved that I choke myself out at times. A lot more times than not. But here today, I want to make a change, I will make a change.
I surrender my life to Jesus Christ and I will be kinder, more tender, less harsh, more concerned and caring for my fellow man. Pray for me and I will do the same for you. We are in this together, even though we are not.
