Numbers 13 “Do You See What I See” with Pastor Jack

As we bring 2025 to an end we take our learned experiences into 2026. They may be either good and or bad but they are for you. Last night we were gently reminded that we are in a fight of our lives concerning the invisible world of spiritual warfare.

There is no time like the present to be a grasshopper. This is a perception of one’s self, compared to how we see ourselves in relation to problems, issues and battles. In Numbers chapter 13 verse 33 it reads, ” There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.” Pastor Jack was asking us not to lose faith in our God, the same God who made it ALL. There is no problem, issue, situation or battle too big for God to handle, to smash to pieces. But we have to use Him!

This year it is going to call for us to be BOLD, COURAGEOUS, FAITHFUL, ARMORED UP, completely surrendered and focused on the Lord Jesus Christ. We are one year closer to the coming of Jesus. This means that the evil one is going to be in overtime. You can look at the world now and see the changing of the tides. This is not a sign for the faint. Although we don’t know the time or day, what we do know is that our King is coming.

It’s like when you are walking along and you are in doubt or just not feeling like you Jesus has your back. You go up over the mountains , through the valleys and now you are on the edge. You look up and the edge of the cliff is under your toes. There are two ways to go; one you can act like you trust and believe in Jesus, step off and fall to your demise or two…you can fly, because you know that the Lord will never let you fall.

We are not the losers at the end of the book. The pastor is right…we need to get real with the warfare at hand. I have read “The Art of War” a few times and it is an excellent book to prepare the mind and prepare you for the fight of your life. Not just to fight but how to overcome and persevere and be victorious in battle and war.

We need to think like Caleb, Numbers chapter 13 verse 30 “Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.” WE ARE VICTORIOUS AND CAN DO ALL THINGS WITH CHRIST JESUS!!!
