Lots of talk right now with what is going on in the Middle East. It is so tempting to follow all of the different social media sources, exhaust all your time scanning for what the next “trusted” person is saying or just what your people are talking about.
Everyone has a perspective, we all have opinions and we all have questions, what is really happening? To be truthful it is hard to think that anyone human knows, because we don’t. Who can know the ways of God? His ways are higher than our way, His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. Here is it straight from the bible;
Isaiah 55:8-9
8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.
9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.
The one who knows is God and we all know how God is all knowing. So if we are to question what we are seeing we need to seek answers in the bible. Not just a few verses, or a chapter here and there and poof, you are a bible scholar, No!!! To understand the seasons you need to know your bible from Genesis to Revelation and when I say understand, I say that very lightly. We will never understand the ways of the Almighty but we can having understanding knowing, believing and trusting that Christ Jesus is our King and our Savior, really there is nothing more than that.
I know it is tough to stay focused on the Lord. We all as humans need this internal comfort or acknowledgement that we know or what we can input is really important. But those are lies from the depths of hell, from the evil one himself. Don’t be deceived, we have all we need, we just need to be still and come out of the noise.
Times are not going to get easier, enemies will be coming on all sides and there will be no safe haven except in prayer or in the bible. So feel free, open it up, begin to read the truth about sin and how rapid sin can infest your thoughts and mind. If your mind is not focused on the Lord than leading you estray is just simple. Don’t get lost in the sauce. Focus on the Lord and He will be with you through it all.
