Romans 15:7-13 “The Perfect Gospel” part 3 with Pastor Jack Hibbs

A great statement was made by Pastor Jack, about how it took 3 pages in the beginning of the bible for man to destroy what God has made good. Then the rest of the bible, 1100 plus pages for God to help guide us back to Him.

The life of the believer is made of so many oxymorons, inverted statements to relay the truth to our minds and hearts. We as humans are so much like sheep, it’s a funny relation.

Truth is what God is, what Jesus Christ is, what the Holy spirit is. Now man has a truth, it’s like being a legend in your own mind. Distorted reality built to perceive whatever made up imagination the evil has one to believe. Deception is rising at an astronomical rate.

If you do not know what the truth is, which is the word of God. It is not going to be too hard to steer you away from the light. Most of us are so involved in what is happening in the world , we get distracted. That is why I am a day late. You really don’t notice it until you are in the third person. So you can see it in panoramic view.

Here in Matthew 24:4-6 it warns us;

4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.
5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for [a]all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

We can tell ourselves daily that we are believers, Jesus is the way , the truth and the life. Do we live it? Are we praying without ceasing? Are we spreading the word of God? We may be in some fashion or form and that’s amazing. How do we keep focused on the prize when we are so bombarded with everyday life?

In between the ups and the downs, we get distracted. I pray that the noise lessens. I pray for our obedience to Christ. I pray that we take heed when we are questioning our actions and take a moment to recall what we are supposed to be doing at that time.
